The opening ceremony of the 24th Budapest Pride Festival cooperated with the participants of the Hungarian cultural life and with the active representatives of the LGBTQI community.
On behalf of the Pride organizer team, the President of Rainbow Mission Foundation, Szilvia Nagy delivered a speech. The night was hosted by Adam Kanicsár journalist, chief editor of Humen Magazine. Romani actress Franciska Farkas also gave a speech in a form of a video message.

Each year, at the opening ceremony, the Hatter Society Award is given to people who have done a lot for LGBTQI people since 2005. The earlier awarded historian, Peter Hanzli handed the award to Anna Borgos.
