Between May 23-26, the Romani Film IX Fest is going to be held in Budapest, this time in the spirit of ‘fighting spirit’. An important message in today’s Europe, but it is also a key event for strengthening Roma cinema, cultures and identities. I consider it as regrettable in the Hungarian circumstances to receive so little support from the Roma and the non-Roma as this festival receives (it has to be improved urgently), but I respect the organizers to still keep up with it. Thanks to them! If you can do it, join the opening ceremony, (what is also a stop-gap event) and at least one of the screenings!
