On the Day of Roma Pride Budapest, we asked the leader of Idetartozunk Association how he sees the situation of gay and LGBTQI people in the Hungarian Roma communities. The activist, also known under the nickname Brada, confirmed the solidarity of him and his association toward LGBTQI people, as he said: “I don’t believe in a country where anyone can be humiliated or beaten up, just because they belong to a group. And I don’t believe either that I don’t have nothing to do with it, even if it’s not directly about my group.”
